NCBC All Hands Meetings
The NCBCs are part of the NIH Roadmap effort to build a national infrastructure for biomedical computing and computational biology. There have been two all hands meetings to date, one in 2006 and the other in 2008.
The goals of these meetings were:
- To offer an opportunity for all of the Centers to learn more about each other’s scientific and technical programs and to interact one-on-one through discussions and demonstrations.
- To provide a forum for substantive working meetings among relevant Center personnel to discuss areas of mutual interest, including those involving software and data integration.
- To provide an opportunity for the Centers to engage and inform the NIH community and to build bridges to other NIH and government initiatives.
